In 2017, the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation ruled to “recognize constitutional protection for all types of families, including those formed through Assisted Reproduction Techniques (ART).”
In November 2023, the Supreme Court of Justice of Mexico clarified the process to make surrogacy legal for all people with reproductive desires, whether they are same-sex couples, opposite-sex couples, or individuals without partners.

In response, she created Families Without Borders to extend her expertise and compassionate care to families who might otherwise be priced out of surrogacy.
