Mike Snaric didn't come to surrogacy through a boardroom—he came to it as a dad. He and his husband George dreamed of becoming parents, and their path to building their family was anything but simple—full of logistical hurdles, financial stress, and lonely moments where they wished someone would just tell them the truth and walk beside them. That experience is the heart behind everything Mike does, and the reason Families Without Borders exists. Mike began this work as an intended parent advocate at one of the country's leading surrogacy agencies, then went on to one of Southern California's top fertility clinics. That rare combination—agency and clinic, advocacy and medicine—means he sees the entire journey, not just one piece of it. As Founder and CEO of Families Without Borders, he leads with one belief: that growing your family should feel hopeful, not frightening, and that intended parents and surrogates alike deserve honesty, warmth, and dignity from the very first conversation. His commitment to doing this work the right way shows in the company he keeps. Mike is a member of SEEDS (the Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy), which sets the ethical standards for the field, and ASRM (the American Society for Reproductive Medicine), the leading professional body in reproductive medicine. He also serves on the Community Board of RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association and the Executive Board of Surro Study, advancing advocacy, research, and education that make surrogacy safer for everyone. What truly sets Mike apart is simple: he has been where you are. He knows the hope, the waiting, and the joy at the end of it all—which is why he shows up patient, genuine, and fully in your corner, every step of the way. Mike is also Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Families Out Loud, a nonprofit he built with George dedicated to advocacy, education, and community in the world of assisted reproduction—an extension of the same mission that drives his work every day. At home, Mike's hands are wonderfully full with George, their twin boys James and Anthony, a golden retriever, and two golden dachshunds who think they run the house.
